ACcloud KIT AcCLOUD The AIDA Calibration Centre for Cloud Physics makes use of the unique AIDA chamber for the calibration of hygrometers and ice nucleating particle (INP) instruments. Hygrometers can be mounted inside the AIDA chamber for calibration at both cloud-free and cloudy conditions, or sample from the AIDA chamber for calibration in a wide range of water partial pressures and mixing ratios. The INP instrument calibration is offered for reference aerosols with known INP concentration determined by well-documented and validated series of AIDA cloud expansion experiments. During the INP calibration runs, the AIDA chamber will also serve as a stable and well-characterized aerosol reservoir.
CCSM PSI  ccsm The CCSM consists of 3 different simulation chambers (PACS-C3) equipped with state-of-the-art aerosol instrumentation that are available for calibration and intercomparison of soot measurement techniques. Main foci will be on laser-induced incandescence methods for the quantification of refractory black carbon and the measurement of derived properties such as mass absorption cross-section of soot for a wide range of aerosols from black carbon in pure form to internal and external mixtures to other aerosol components.
WCCAP TROPOS  WCCAP The WCCAP is a Calibration Centre for the Global Watch Programme on behalf of the World Meteorological Organization. It is unique world-wide and offers its service for physical aerosol instruments used at atmospheric observatories so far. WCCAP is part of the ACTRIS facility ECAC.

OGTAC CC
TROPOS OGTACC The OGTAC CC is a calibration centre for the analysis of atmospheric organic tracers and particle-phase constituents. This is the first of its kind world-wide and focuses on tracers and main SOA constituents of biogenic and anthropogenic origin. It offers inter-laboratory comparisons (ILCs) and training of users. The instruments available in OGTAC CC include High-Performance Liquid Chromatography Electrospray Ionization coupled to Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry (HPLC/(-)ESI- TOFMS), Ultra-Performance Liquid Chromatography Electrospray Ionization coupled to Ion-Mobility Mass Spectrometer with a Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry (UPLC/ESI-IMS-QTOFMS) and High-Performance Anion-Exchange Chromatography with Pulsed Amperometric Detection (HPAEC-PAD).
